Frequently Asked Questions

Q.  When can I expect to hear back from Molecular?
A.  Molecular's recruiting staff is organized by discipline. When you submit your resume, it's routed to the appropriate person for review. If your qualifications appear to match an open position, you will receive a phone call from one of our recruiters within five to seven days, possibly sooner. If your experience isn't a match for our current needs, your resume will be added to our database to be searched when appropriate opportunities become available.

Q.  What is the recruiting process?
A.  A recruiter would arrange a telephone interview of approximately 30 to 45 minutes. Following the call, the recruiter would discuss your candidacy with the hiring manager and they would decide together whether or not to arrange for a first round, face-to face interview.

Q.  How does the interview process work?
A.  This may vary slightly depending on the position. Most commonly, there are two rounds of interviews at our office. The first round is with the hiring manager and another member of the team; second round interviews often involve several Molecular team members from various disciplines. Depending on the position, you may also be asked to do a presentation or a role play.

Q.  How long does this process usually take?
A.  Our goal is to move the interviews along as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Typically, the process takes two to three weeks from our initial contact to the final stage.

Q.  What if I'm interested in Molecular but don't see a specific position open that seems like a good match?
A.  Please send in your resume even if you don't see an open position that matches your qualifications. Our hiring needs change frequently and we do maintain a database of people to contact in the future.

Q.  Is there travel required for people who work at Molecular?
A.   Yes, travel is involved in most consulting positions.  We currently have clients that are locally based and those that are outside of our geographic area.

Q.  Do you hire contractors at Molecular? If so, how is that process different?
A.  Molecular uses contractors from time to time. We maintain a qualified pool and contact prospective contractors when their skills match a specific need. If you would like to interview for the contractor pool, please submit your resume.
