Brian Gillespie, Director, Strategic Design
Brian contributes his expertise in integrating business and design strategy to drive innovation for clients worldwide. Currently, Brian leads the experience design and strategy for Molecular’s work on adidas miCoach. Collaborating with the adidas innovation team, and a network of diverse product and creative partners, the experience design team has developed the multi-faceted vision that is miCoach. Previous to his work with adidas, Brian has also driven innovative experience design and business solutions for clients such as JPMorganInvest/BrownCo and Rentokil Initial.
Brian’s career in digital design started in the early '90s when he joined Vertigo, a small Cambridge start-up, where he lead the interface design of numerous interactive CD-ROM’s for a wide range of clients including Fidelity, Houghton-Mifflin, NEBS, and Standard and Poor’s and also several co-branded titles with such luminaries as Tom Peters and Peter Lynch. With the bloom of the Internet and the start-up revolution Brian consulted with JuniorNet as a multimedia designer and in 1998 re-joined his colleagues from Vertigo to start Event Zero, an Internet professional services firm. From 1998-2001, as Director of Creative Services, Brian built the team from the ground up to more than 30 consultants. Brian is a graduate of the Design Management MBA from the University of Westminster, London.
