David A. Kaplan, Chief Financial Officer
David is responsible for the financial health of the company and, along with his team, is in charge of financial communications to internal and external communities. As a member of Molecular’s executive team, Kaplan will lead the financial strategy of the company.
Prior to joining Molecular, Kaplan served as CFO at the Monitor Company, a strategic consulting firm; CFO for Lifeline Systems, a publicly traded personal response and support services company; and Treasurer and Director of Finance at Simplex Time Recorder Co., a global solutions provider of fire detection, security, building communications and workforce management information systems. In addition, during a two year hiatus away from Molecular, Kaplan worked as Chief Financial and Legal Officer for several private equity and leverage buy out firms to integrate several acquired businesses in the management consulting and in the health care industries. He is also a founder of The Children’s Discovery and Science Museums of Acton, MA.
Kaplan earned a BS in Accounting and a JD from Boston College Law School.
