Wei-Tai Kwok, Vice President and Managing Director, San Francisco Office

Wei-Tai came to Molecular through its acquisition of Ion Global, where he served as San Francisco Managing Director.  

Well known for his expertise in the area of web site globalization, Kwok has chaired and spoken at numerous international conferences on the topic since 1997. His practice area focuses on helping organizations succeed in the global digital marketplace by helping them design and implement holistic solutions that address strategic, cultural, linguistic, technical and business management issues. His client base has included leading companies within a broad range of industries, including financial services, telecommunications, retail, packaged goods, technology, entertainment and others.    

Previous to Ion Global, Kwok was CEO of an Asian American advertising agency.  He worked as a marketing associate for a Silicon Valley consulting firm and also as a case manager and legal translator for a law firm in Shanghai and New York. He has also served as a Chinese interpreter for the International Fencing Federation at the 1984 Olympics.

A native of Washington DC, Kwok holds a degree in economics and political science from Yale University and speaks fluent Chinese and English and a little French and Latin.
